The Process: Winery is responsible for supplying bottling support personnel. (7 for normal bottling, 8 for tapered bottles.) That includes 1 forklift driver. Winery is responsible for all quality control and is required to notify Bravo Bottling as soon as any issues arise. Winery staff is responsible for package approval and bottling commencement. Winery staff is the sole responsibility for all approvals and notification of irregularities or other issues as soon as possible. Winery staff is responsible for wine pump and hose sanitation 30 minutes before the start of bottling. Winery staff is responsible for delivery of supplies to truck during bottling. Bravo Bottling can supply labor when bottling in Sonoma or Napa for an additional charge.
Winery
should have the means to hook regulated nitrogen (4PSI) to the wine hose to push wine to the bottling truck at the end of each varietals.
Bravo bottling will revert to an hourly rate for downtimes due to winery related problems. This includes packaging materials not being provided in a timely fasion, poor wine filtration, shortage of labor, or any other winery operation as it effects the speed of the bottling line. Hourly rates will also apply should the bottling speed fall below 175 cases per hour due to winery related issues.
Quality Control: Bravo Bottling will withhold 1 bottle sample every 2 hours. This is for quality control purposes.
Schedule Changes and deposits: Any changes in scheduling must be made 60 days prior to a previously reserved bottling date. Wineries are responsible for a 15% cancellation fee (based on scheduled revenues) should there
be a cancellation 45-30 days prior to a reserved date. Wineries will be responsible for 25% fee for cancellations within 30 days. Less than 14 days, 50% of the daily minimum will be charged. And less than 7 days, 100% of the daily minimum will be charged. Bravo bottling will make every effort possible to schedule another client for those days. If Bravo Bottling schedules another client for the canceled day, your winery will not be subject to a cancellation fee.
Wineries agree to fully exonerate, indemnify, agree to hold harmless Bravo Bottling and it’s staff from all claims or actions (and agree to pay all expenses incidental to the defense of any such claim or actions) arising from loss, damage or injury to bottled product or persons other than Bravo Bottling’s employees in connection with, or arising directly from the operations while bottling for said winery. This applies to all claims, losses, injury or other damages.
